Our Cartoons

After many hours spent writing, designing, drawing and animating, we are proud to present our cartoons!

Our first animation was made by young participants from Romania, co-ordinated by Association FourChange.

After choosing Maths as their topic and people with disabilities as their group most likely to be excluded, they explored elements of Maths that pupils found hard, and would benefit from revising.

After a couple of storyboards, Ionut and the story was born! Ionut gets to educate his fellow classmates about his hearing impairment and his hearing aid, whilst also teaching them how to do maths in a simple and straightforward way.

He solves the equation so the children at the school can share the balls between them according to the principal’s rules, and at the end they all get to play together!

Our second animation was made by young participants from Cyprus, co-ordinated by RITE.

They decided to look at Physics, as well as think about how migrants are negatively perceived and excluded. With these two learning outcomes in mind for the viewer, they could develop the story a bit further.

So they brainstormed some key topics in Physics, and fluid dynamics was one that was difficult to learn and understand. At the same time, they remembered a problem that often faced communities connected to the water supply.

Anima springs to action, working with the community and destroying stereotypes through her knowledge and kind heart. Their joint work solves the problem, and the community grows a little closer!

Our third animation was made by the young members of Jedna Mladost from Croatia.

With a high interest in Chemistry already, they discussed what could make an interesting animation to share with young children. At the same time, they discussed people with neurodiversity and how they could be included.

A plot was made and they worked individually on creating characters connected to the period table. They connected everything together in the end to create this animation about Carbon’s party.

Throughout the animation, there are various elements of inclusion, with a large focus on Helium who has her own inclusion needs.
